The Jaguar predominantly roams from Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula, south, to the northern part of Brazil’s Amazon basin.  It is estimated there are less than 15,000 Jaguars left in the world.  Autonomy is honored to partner with the Focus Conservation Fund, in conjunction with the Jaguar Ecological Reserve, and will donate proceeds of each skate sold to help protect this majestic and powerful animal in its natural habitat, giving them the autonomy they deserve to survive.

The Jaguar Ecological Reserve is currently a 3000-acre, federally registered, privately held reserve. The land still belongs to the traditional owners, while being preserved.  This has caught the attention of 12 other landowners, holding 1.729 million additional acres.  The Focus Conservation Fund negotiated a price of US$15 per acre with these landowners. With this small sum and your assistance, we have the potential to preserve a huge area of the world's largest wetland, with vast tropical rainforests and empower these Jaguars to thrive and survive.
