The Progeny Project pays tribute to those who rose up against all odds to do things their way. In the theme of the Olympics, we are honored to highlight female Olympians like Wilma Rudolph (1940-1994) and friends who paved the way for later generations. Regardless of your opinion on skateboarding in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, it’s pretty amazing to witness this moment in skateboarding history when women’s skateboarding becomes more visible and appreciated on a global level.

Autonomy has always been an international brand with pro riders and ambassadors scattered around the globe. This is why we are honored to be the board of choice for some of the top female skaters as well as girls picking up a skateboard for the very first time. With the insane progression taking place in skateboarding these days, it’s no surprise that the 2020ne Olympic Committee took notice and worked so hard to introduce our passion to the largest athletic platform on earth.
